Most Recent Update:

We've had an exciting, interesting 2 weeks. The a week ago this past Tuesday I set out on errands and one of my errands was to take a baby gift to the unsaved daughter of one of our LC members. I specifically asked the Lord for an opportunity to witness to Lana, and the Lord did provide an opportunity.

Next I dropped off a baby gift with the wife of a couple I had helped with marital counseling. The couple are still experiencing struggles and almost divorced several times this last year. I again offered our "ears" and counseling and prayed with Shelly regarding the situation.

Another visit that morning was with a new LC member. Andrina's husband was the pastor of her church until he was murdered over 4 years ago. The church still does not have a pastor and Miss Andrina has been functioning as the pastor. I reminded her of the Biblical qualifications for a pastor and we prayed for the Lord to provide a qualified pastor for the church.

Please continue to pray for Karen and Kirby. Karen is not doing well post burglary, falling back on old habits to deal with her stresses.

Valerie asked to bring her cousin to her Bible study so he could see what we did. Branley lives next door and at age 10 has a lot of Biblical head knowledge, but had never asked the Lord to be his Savior. That Thursday Branley decided he needed the Lord as his Savior and prayed asking the Lord to save him. He is excited about the Bible studies and wants to continue to learn about the Lord. Please pray for Branley's growth in the Lord.

Last Sunday was definitely a memorable day. Peter called me while I was visiting Ellen, stating he thought he had a broken nose from a flying elbow during a basketball game. I got home and one look at Peter's nose told me there was no "thought," he had a broken, deviated septum. It was the worst I had ever seen. That statement holds weight as I used to work as the office nurse for an ear, nose and throat specialist. I pushed the nose twice to get it 2/3's the way back into place, but Peter needed pain meds and a dr. to do the rest of the job. Thankfully Dr. Raymond was home and was willing to take us to the clinic where he works in the mornings to push the nose back into position and stitch up a cut. The clinic didn't have any splints so Dr.many much people stare at Peter's "alien" look. If you'd like to see Peter's new look check out our Facebook page.

This past Monday morning our vacuum cleaner died as I was finishing up the cleaning. The microwave died the previous Thursday and Mr. Heston was able to resurrect it, but the vacuum was a different story.

This past Thursday we spent an overnight on Calabash Bight with supporters who have a vacation home there. When it was time to leave our truck did not want to start. Keyto gave us a "jump" and Peter added water to the battery. We made 4 stops on the way home and each time the truck started without incident. Saturday afternoon though when I wanted to drive to a Bible study the truck again did not want to start. The truck was again "jumped" and Peter drove to town to buy a battery for the truck. Batteries only last 1 to 2 years here due to the salt air.

Saturday afternoon there were 138 dedications and 20 birthdays to celebrate during our Request and Dedication program. I'm anticipating another busy Saturday this coming Saturday due to Valentines Day.

Don't forget to visit our video blog site. Our hope is to be able to give you a visual look into our lives and ministries here on Roatan. The vidoes are updated several times during the week, so come surf over there early and often to catch the latest.

As always we are grateful for your prayers on behalf of this ministry.
